Your PTO Council had its second meeting tonight (Oct 6th). There are too many exciting things to mention in one post, but here are some highlights:
October 16th -- S'mores and more celebration for good behavior is going to be AWESOME!!
October 20th --Plan to attend the next full PTO meeting...tons of new info plus some treats.
We are putting together a PLAYGROUND committee to work closely with maintenance in regards to a long-term plan for better play areas/equipment. This committee will obtain grants, raise funds, and coordinate the installation of new equipment.
Our new "Bylaws" are ready for review. We are moving forward to apply for a 501c3 tax status. These will be e-mail out and published soon. We may vote on these on the 20th.
We are also planning several new things for teachers and parents for this year and next.
